It is my new required duty, along with collecting youtube links and watching more Strawberry Panic. Maybe some Vampire Night, Mew Mew Power. Things of that general region, although preferably animes Zeffi watched. That may not be too hard to figure out since her's were mainly mature content with g swirly y relationships. Or random acts of violence with cute characters. Such as Shao and Black Cat. You get the picture..
Anyways. I will place my short story (short in comparison to Zeffi's that is, but she needs to have the longest! REMEMBERANCE!!). The Girl and the Man: Can I have my escape?
It was a day like any other. A day without sun. A day without happiness. A day full of gloom, fear, and pain. She was all alone in this world. In a world without a name. People looked at her but they never saw the true her. She was the picture child, attitude with her parents, jokes around with her friends, gets some bad marks. And all around seemed normal. In every way. That is untill the day she met someone to help her get out of the world she didn't belong in. She was getting out of here! She would be free! Yes, free to live her life and be scared of the little things. Free to cry and say, "T_T Theres a spider on the wall." or "Theres something moving in the dark over there...Help me?"."Hello." A figure asked."Hi." She said into the night, at the dark figure."Are you afraid?" the man asked."No," she breathed into the night, "I am not afraid." And, quite simply she wasn't.He picked her up and placed her in the trunk of his car, and drove away into the darkness.She curled up into a ball, and fell asleep. Sound, asleep.She awoke to the sound of trafic, they were in the city now. It's getting a bit bumpier in the back. She should put her sweat-shirt on the keep from skinning her arm.Light shinning in. Droplets of dew falling off the trunk lid from this morning."Good Morning." He told her."Thank you," She told him."Not a problem, at all." He smiled.They walked into the McDonalds they were parked at to grab a bite to eat. She was starving. He was hungry. So in the easiest term they both wanted food."How was your ride?" He qeustioned."I've had worse." She shrugged it off, and it was true..She had had worse rides in her life time. Heck she was only twelve going on thirteen. But she had the expirience to last.They finished ordering their food. A egg McMuffin and a biscuit. They ate their food swiftly, time to be on the road again. No reason to stick around for the Officers to figure out she was missing. They had to go. And fast.He picked her up gently and quick, took her to the car. And placed her softly into the trunk."Do you need anything?" He wondered, truly worried about her health."All I need is a blanket, a water bottle. And the clothes on my back." She said calmly.He placed a water bottle and a blanket in the trunk for her, shut the lid. And started the engine. Quietly the car pulled out of it's parking lot. Got onto the highway. And drove smoothly away.
"Good, you're awake.." The Man said softly, "I was begining to wonder if you were going to be out much longer. You look so peaceful when asleep." He laughed almost silently.
The girl looked intently at him, her dark brown eyes piercing into his head. Once he looked into her eyes, he couldn't turn his head. She had his head locked in place with the fury and fire behind her eyes...He was actualy intimidated by her. Could she hurt him? And honestly, why was he afraid of her...She's just a little girl. A twirly twelve. He was much wiser and stronger than her. No need to fear anything, no need to fear at all. He was safe. Now. How does he pull his eyes away...? Her eyes, her eyes just seemed to paralyze him.
"Yes, I am awake..." she said softly, there was a tint of pain on the edge of her voice. Did she have a sore throat? Was she ill? ...He didn't know, he couldn't quite tell.
"I'm not ill," she replied, seemingly reading his thoughts. "I've just been through a lot. You can rest at ease.." She said wearily, as she climbed into his arms to fall asleep. She was tuckered out, a long day of traveling in the car...In the trunk..A long time. So, when they pulled over at the rest stop she naturaly looked for a way to be out of that stuffy-cramped trunk. Her escape, was in his arms. Snuggling in close to ensure he would not try and stash her in the back again. She was safe, she was content. And the Man, he was a bit shocked. But other than that he was glad she trusted him, he would never on his life attempt to hurt her. She was too valuable for that, too much to adore and love.
"Hmph..." He sighed giving into Her, holding her close to his chest as he stepped back into the car (A white volvo to be precise, remember that saying? 'Stupid shiny volvo owner.'? xD).
"Naughty litte thing," He muttered as he wrapped the twirly twelve up in his jacket.
"Naturaly..." she whispered sleepily into the crisp, cold air. They both laughed very, ever so quietly. In the night as they slowly fell asleep, their eyes drooping down ever so slightly with their tiredness.
It was a picture perfect night. A full moon shinning out over the hill-sides, streets, cities, and highways. Creating a beautiful glistening shine, upon the roof of the volvo. Where the man and the girl were fast asleep. Twelve A.M. The hour of sleep.
He woke first, freezing cold without his jacket. But warm enough with her presence beside him.
"Hurm..." She sighed into the jacket, shivering. She was waking up, in due time she would be fully awake.
"Shh...You have nothing to worry about. Go back to sleep, you and I only slept an hour. Twelve to one. You sleep." The man said wrapping the girl back into the jacket she had twisted out of. And placed her into the trunk, once more. Time for the day's traveling to begin!
Tickity tock...Tickity tock...Two o'clock. Three o'clock. Time to check up on the girl, is she OK?
The man pulled over along the road, popped the trunk. And gazed upon a sleepy faced twirly twelve.
"Hewo.." she muttered. Absently, and quiet.
"Hey there, Sleepy. Want to stop or continue?" He asked her, the man wanted to know.
"Stop, food, water, talk...Then go?" She obviously was still very tired, normaly she either bothered to speak in complete sentances or one word at a time. Not listing them in such manners.
